"My holiday in Agnone exceeded hopes in every way: a delightfully small and attractive town, perfect for anyone wanting to practice and develop their Italian. No tourists - so nobody tries to practice their English on you, but everyone so welcoming and happy for you to practice your Italian on them.

Being on my own was completely fine – the other people on the course were all interesting and friendly, and in fact it made it even easier to meet local people. So lots of practice and in a fortnight I sorted things in my head, became better at talking and ‘hearing’ and really felt able to move forward.

All the many events – cooking sessions, meals, cheese making, bell foundry, fascinating towns and sites - were shared with us by people who have fantastic pride in and knowledge of their history and culture. Plus there were unexpected delights like the wonderful wedding serenata and the vol del angelo.
I’d never been on a language-learning holiday before and it was an excellent introduction, exceptionally well organized with lots of inspiration. Grazie!"

"Dov'ė la vera Italia? A Venezia? A Milano o Roma?

"We loved our stay! The activities quickly made us feel part of the local community. This is a very unique feature of the program, something we have always desired to experience when visiting Italy - but had found impossible to achieve on our own.

Gentle and very skilled teachers were appropriately tailored to our different levels and the warm and friendly language interactions with our guides, local business staff and townspeople added to our understanding and use of Italian along with immersion in Italian life and culture.

Without reservation we both recommend this program to anyone interested in an enjoyable and stimulating learning experience."

"I loved my two weeks in Agnone with Live & Learn Italian -- it was exactly the type of immersion experience I was looking for to push my Italian a bit further. Without a tourist in sight, we were able to experience a bit of “real Italy” in this lovely, hilltop village. We got to know a few of the local personalities thorough cooking and cultural activities, and also had some expert presentations and excursions explaining the fascinating history of this region. Jenifer’s program is the perfect mix of activities encompassing (fantastic) food, culture, history, film and fun – all while improving your Italian with excellent teaching and unlimited opportunities to converse with Italians! The days are full and the weeks fly by. This course was excellent value and exceeded every expectation -- I look forward to returning to Agnone and doing it all over again!"

"The concept that Jenifer has come up with in Agnone is superb: it easily tops other Italian language schools I have attended (where classroom teaching in large groups delivered next to no practice speaking with native Italians).

Small group teaching allowed masses of individual attention. Outside the classroom, the programme of visits and dinners with locals gave us the chance to spend time with Italians who didn’t speak English with us, and were patient with our Italian efforts.

It felt like the whole town was welcoming us!"

"More than a “course,” this is a full service “vacation!” You’re met at the airport, get lodging and meals, daily Italian lessons just at your level, and trips and events in a charming Italian region where townspeople are delighted you’re trying your Italian!  The interaction with the local people makes this very special. And all this at an incredibly reasonable price!"
